“We are all driven by desire, but once we attain what we want, it no longer satisfies us, and our sense of lack shifts to something else. Stuck in the pursuit of an unattainable ideal. It slips and transforms. Unreachable yet magnetic.”
For Wallace’s collaboration with Love Letters, we built a visual world from this restless cycle of desire, drawing on Slavoj Žižek’s reading of Objet petit a, the unattainable object of longing that seduces precisely because it cannot be grasped.
In the final art direction, the veil became the visual protagonist. It masked alien like dancers, revealed flashes of flesh, and shifted in translucency, charting the journey from fantasy to vulnerability. This evolved into:
 • Photography and cover art: a hyper sensory portrait sequence oscillating between intimacy and anonymity
 • Music video: a liminal choreography of bodies and fabric, where the veil becomes an object of pursuit and confrontation
 • Lyric video: integrating point cloud datasets into shifting digital architectures, a landscape of cravings rendered in pixels. We got to showcase it in the bathrooms of the club.. project highlight ❤️
 • Instagram reels campaign: short form looping fragments designed to feel like intercepted moments from the lyric video.
 • Release party Poster & Art-Direction at 17 Little Portland Street London: a one night party alongside Erol Alkan, John Loveless, Wallace, and Love Letters, staged as a living installation of the project’s themes
We loved this project, it was not a simple art-direction project but one where we got to work closely with the Phantasy team to construct a full micro-world for the project.
